An Existential Invitation
Far,
From mad-paced lives,
Bruised egos,
Broken hearts,
From loud vacuities,
dead routine,
In the quietness
that lies between
the in-breath
and the out-breath,
between shadow and shine…
The Silence is ready
To stir and spill
Receive it if you will…
Of Letting Go
Yes, yes I know
Love means
letting sunshine and sand
slip away from your fingers
… and more.
But now and then
I just want to
clasp you tight
and sob,
loud and hoarse
saying only one thing,
“I don’t want to let you go.”
Even though I know
I must
Let’s not try to
drown it all,
in loud music,
cheese omelettes,
non-veg jokes,
cuddly toys,
or forced letters to far away parents.
Let’s just acknowledge
it hurts a lot,
and weep.

Great! When are you getting them published in a book. I still remember all the ancient ones too…why don’t you upload ‘Sita’…anyway, keep making more.
Hi Harry the PYARI,
THE POEMS ARE AS BEAUTIFUL AS YOU , I CAN FEEL THE DEPTH EVEN IN THE SEEMINGLY MUNDANE THINGS THAT YOU TALK ABOUT eg writing letters to old parents, the need to just let go and what’s more the need to be just you . I can hear the sound of silence echo in the depths of your poetry and it is still reverberating somewhere deep in my own heart.
Love you for what you are!
