I loved the Elizabeth Gilbert talk on TED about her “Creative Muse” too. She seems so genuine in her approach. When I am inspired I find myself leaving myself voicemails, sending emails, taking photos from my iphone, and lately I have even started typing in some notes on an app in my phone if I don’t have paper handy. Whatever way works I say. My hardest part I think is #5, doing what she tells me. My “inner critic” always wants to get into the game and does not usually want to “play friendly”.

What great tips, succinctly and humorously offered up. I adore Anne Lamott, too – so any secondary wisdom from her is always valued. (I think this was in Bird-by-Bird, such a great read!)
