It is just sickening to see the kind of attitude described in the blog. Unfortunately the equality is little twisted in India. India being such a class oriented society contrary to various claims, you are equal among equals in your own class. Meaning the netas are equal amongst other netas, the babus amongst babus unfortunately the so called public are equal amongst public and are probably the lowest amongst the equals. The lack of transparency, poor governance and attitude to bend all the rules and our so called attitude ' CHALTA JAI ' are contributing the mess and makes our society completely a mistery to the world at large. We simply refuse to benchmarked against the best in the world.

EVen small little gains made by the Indians in the world - nothing attributable to the Indians from India are talked about with great respect as if we have made great progress in getting the Nobel prizes.

Hence the best way for the Karunanidhi is to institute his own prize and grant it to him. Tamilnadu in many ways had been creative in their own way thanks to the adamant Dravidian culture. A lie uttered a thousand times becomes the TRUTH one day. You can probably expect the Anna Award and The Kalaignar Award becoming global one day ' perhaps being given to the Tamil Citizens of the world in New York, Sanfrancisco or in Sydney. If we cannot win a Nobel so be it we can always give a Kalaignar award. What is the big Deal.
